River Bluff entered their tilt with Hilton Head Island on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Seahawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gators also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Peyton Capps paced River Bluff's offense, picking up nine kills. Capps got some help from Alexis Jodie and her 18 assists. Caroline Tucker and Kinley Webster kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

River Bluff's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Hilton Head Island, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

River Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against James Island on the 30th. As for Hilton Head Island, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Wando on the 30th.
