Baseball Recap: DJ Fuller Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Parkdale

While Eleanor Roosevelt's victory against Parkdale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Eleanor Roosevelt's pitcher stepped up to hand Parkdale a 1-0 shutout on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not much got past Cannon Knight, who gave up just four hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Parkdale off the board. Those 13 strikeouts gave Knight a new career-high.

At the plate, Eleanor Roosevelt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DJ Fuller, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Fuller also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Eleanor Roosevelt's record now sits at 5-2. As for Parkdale, they dropped their record down to 3-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
