Softball Recap: Grafton Bearcats vs. Frankfort Falcons
In what's become a running theme this season, Grafton gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 10-2 margin over the Frankfort Falcons. Winning may never get old, but Grafton sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Mattie Shaver and Karigan Wildroudt did most of the damage at the plate: Shaver scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Wildroudt scored two runs while going 1-for-4. Jade Hall was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Grafton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Frankfort, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Grafton will head out on the road to challenge Keyser at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Frankfort does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
