Baseball Recap: Timpview Has No Trouble Against Judge Memorial Catholic

While Timpview put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Judge Memorial Catholic. Timpview was the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over Judge Memorial Catholic. While the Thunderbirds didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Timpview got a great performance from Beckham Woodward as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Will Cannon and Elliot Myers did most of the damage at the plate: Cannon scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Myers scored a run while going 3-for-4. Zeke Kleven was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.

Timpview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Judge Memorial Catholic only posted an OBP of .375.
