Christian Community hasn't had much luck against Clarksville Christian recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Christian Community Colts are taking a road trip to  face off against the Clarksville Christian Centurions  at 6:00  p.m.
Last Tuesday, Christian Community didn't have quite enough to beat Merrol Hyde Magnet and fell  51-49.

 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Makenzie Rigsby, who  posted 16  points and five  rebounds. Those 16 points gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  M.J. Dodd, who  put up five  points in addition to six  boards and three  steals.
Meanwhile, Clarksville Christian took their  match  on Monday with ease, bagging  a  71-15 victory over South Haven Christian. The Centurions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine  contests by 40  points or more this season.
Clarksville Christian's win came from a few key players Christian Community will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Lauren Hassell, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 14  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Niah Rhodes, who  went 6 of 12  on her way to 12 points in addition to seven  assists and five  boards.
 Clarksville Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in three consecutive  games.
 Christian Community's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-6. As for Clarksville Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Christian Community has crashing the boards this season,  having  averaged 20.4  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Clarksville Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 33.7  boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Christian Community was dealt a bruising  67-11 loss at the hands of Clarksville Christian in their previous meeting  back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   Hassell, who  dropped  a double-double on 20  points and 14  boards. Now that Christian Community knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
