Volleyball Recap: Xavier Takes a Loss

Xavier was the 3-0 winner over Dubuque Senior when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams on Saturday.

Xavier's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Dubuque Senior, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Xavier will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Iowa City West at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Dubuque Senior, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Linn-Mar on the 6th.
