Claire Samples and Mary Carter certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Samples had 12 assists and five digs, while Carter had nine digs and one assist. Samples has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Kilgore, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Center on the 30th.
