Kinkaid's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart Chargers, sneaking past 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.
Penelope Tsao paced Kinkaid's offense, picking up 11 kills. Tsao got some help from Lola Prpa and her 28 assists. Finally, Jaelyn Sowells kept Kinkaid's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.
Kinkaid's victory bumped their record up to 14-24. As for Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.
