Volleyball Recap: Flushing Takes a Loss

If Flushing was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Swartz Creek on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marian Mustangs on Saturday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Flushing's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Marian, their win bumped their record up to 30-3.

Flushing didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Bedford on the 11th. As for Marian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against East Grand Rapids on the 11th.
