Football Recap: Gordon Central Takes a Loss

Gordon Central played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 31-10 to the Christian Heritage Lions. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Gordon Central and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Christian Heritage, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Gordon Central will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gordon Lee at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Christian Heritage, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-0 win against Chattooga on the 10th.
