Basketball Recap: Boone Braves vs. East River Falcons
The Boone Braves had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They secured a 59-55 W over East River. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Cheo James, who scored 18 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lian Hernandez, who scored 13 points.

Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for East River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.
Boone will take on the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Timber Creek will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Braves are ranked 122nd). East River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
