Softball Recap: Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Starts off Right with Win over Eau Claire North

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eau Claire North Huskies 7-6.

Kristin Radtke was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-6. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Sydney Holberg was another key player, going 1-for-5 with one home run and two RBI.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against Eau Claire North: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
