Basketball Recap: Clear Fork Takes a Loss

Clear Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 75-52 to the Ashland Arrows. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 575th, while the Arrows are ranked 251st).

Clear Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Ashland, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Fork will host Highland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Clear Fork is facing Highland at the right time seeing as Highland is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Ashland, they will take on Lexington at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ashland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Lexington likes a good challenge.
