West Ashley is a perfect 6-0 against Berkeley since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The West Ashley Wildcats will face off against the Berkeley Stags at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

West Ashley's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Porter-Gaud by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Berkeley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Colleton County with a sharp 4-1 victory on Tuesday. The score was close at the half, but the Stags pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Colleton County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Johnathan Hazelton (2), Steven Prieto, and Ryland Curwen.

Berkeley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. West Ashley now has a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went West Ashley's way against Berkeley when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as West Ashley made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Ashley since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
