Baseball Recap: Barstow Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Barstow came out on top against Granite Hills on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Aztecs took their game against the Cougars 7-4. The win was nothing new for the Aztecs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Barstow saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santiago Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Lopez has become a key player for the Aztecs: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-12 otherwise.

Barstow's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Granite Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

As of now, neither Barstow nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
