Baseball Recap: Bernards Mountaineers vs. Montgomery Cougars
Bernards had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 6-6 to make it four. They came up short against the Montgomery Cougars, falling 19-2. The Mountaineers were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Bernards saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Pace, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.
As for Montgomery, their record is now 7-11-1. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
