Basketball Recap: Sydney Quival's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Metea Valley over Naperville North

Metea Valley lost against Naperville North back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Metea Valley Mustangs lost 46-26 to the Naperville North Huskies. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Metea Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sydney Quival, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arainna Hammons, who scored eight points.

Metea Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Naperville North, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season.

Metea Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-46 loss against Naperville Central on the 6th. As for Naperville North, they have also already played their next match, a 78-56 defeat against Waubonsie Valley on the 6th.
