Sherando is a perfect 8-0 against Warren County since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will head out to take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Sherando's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Warren County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Sherando fell victim to Skyline and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Warren County didn't have quite enough to beat Liberty on Friday and fell 4-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayden Christopher was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That stolen base was his first of the season. Seb France was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Warren County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Sherando, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Sherando took their win against Warren County in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-4 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
