Greater Cabarrus S has gone 7-0 against South Charlotte recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Greater Cabarrus S Stallions will face off against the South Charlotte Thunder at 7:15 p.m. Greater Cabarrus S has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 10.

Last Thursday, Greater Cabarrus S lost to Metrolina Christian Academy at home by a 66-50 margin. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 484th, while the Warriors are ranked 225th).

Meanwhile, South Charlotte played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by South Guilford HomeSchool and fell 65-20. The defeat continues a trend for the Thunder in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Greater Cabarrus S will have to contain Bella Aitchison as she made an impact in South Charlotte's last game. She posted 11 points.

Even though they lost, South Charlotte smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Greater Cabarrus S's record is now 4-14. As for South Charlotte, their record is now 3-12.

Greater Cabarrus S skirted past South Charlotte 29-26 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greater Cabarrus S since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
