Baseball Recap: Lockwood Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Purdy, Lockwood was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Southwest Trojans by a score of 8-5. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Lockwood now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Lockwood will welcome Dadeville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Southwest, they will challenge McDonald County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
