Baseball Recap: Moffat County Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Moffat County's offense. They came up short against the Grand Valley Cardinals on Friday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Moffat County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Grand Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-9.

Coming up, Moffat County will be playing in front of their home fans against Delta at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Meeker at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are facing the Cowboys at the right time seeing as the Cowboys are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
