Soccer Game Preview: Harnett Central vs. J.H. Rose

The Harnett Central Trojans will challenge the J.H. Rose Rampants at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harnett Central will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Harnett Central's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Monday. They blew past Triton 4-0. Considering Harnett Central have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Triton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Micheal McMiller, Jesse West, Kevin Plancarte-Reyes, and Alan Trejo-Meijia.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only J.H. Rose walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Fighting Scots on Tuesday as they made off with a 7-2 victory. Things got a bit chippy out on the turf as both teams were handed red cards: J.H. Rose's Mohammed Belahchich and Scotland's Dakota Locklear and Joshua Smith.

J.H. Rose's win bumped their record up to 9-10-1. As for Harnett Central, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3-2.
