Basketball Recap: Central Heights Takes a Loss

Central Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. 2025 welcomed they with a 53-30 loss courtesy of the Uniontown Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while the Eagles are ranked 106th).

Central Heights' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Uniontown, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Heights will square off against Pleasanton on Tuesday. As for Uniontown, they will face off against Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
