Mifflin scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the East Tigers, falling 30-21. The Punchers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 16-9.

Mifflin has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for East, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mifflin will face off against Franklin Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East, they will square off against Centennial at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Stars will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
