Baseball Recap: Sasakwa Comes Up Short

Sasakwa managed to slip by Quinton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 17-9 to the Savages on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly eight runs.

Sasakwa got a big performance out of Joshua Jones, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double was Jones' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Darius Henderson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Sasakwa's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. As for Quinton, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-8-1.

Looking ahead, Sasakwa will take on Mill Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Quinton, they will face off against Webbers Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
