Basketball Recap: Pitt County P Takes a Loss

Pitt County P was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 40-9 loss at the hands of the Greenville Christian Academy Knights. While losing is never fun, the Pacers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while the Knights are ranked 213th).

Pitt County P's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Greenville Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.

Pitt County P does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they will take on Trinity Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Trinity Christian's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Greenville Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
