Heritage hadn't done well against Loudoun Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Pride put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 16-4 victory. This was a revenge game for the Pride: when they faced off against the Vikings back in April, they had to take a 8-5 defeat.

Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Loudoun Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Tuscarora on the 30th. Loudoun Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
