It's playoff time, and El Rancho had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Ramona Convent Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 26-6 win. The Dons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Karly Yatco was a one-woman wrecking crew as she rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, and also caught one TD.

El Rancho didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Sofia Lopez, Jersey Ruiz, and Analise Garcia picked up one apiece.

Despite the loss, Ramona Convent still got an impressive performance from Dayanara Gomez, who picked up 93 receiving yards and one score.

The victory got El Rancho back to even at 7-7-1. As for Ramona Convent, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Looking ahead, El Rancho will head out on the road to take on Estancia at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Dons' offense will have their work cut out for them. Ramona Convent does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
