Baseball Recap: Tomahawk Takes a Loss

Tomahawk lost to Northland Pines back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hatchets took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The game marked the Hatchets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tomahawk has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Northland Pines, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tomahawk will face off against Rhinelander at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hodags' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Hatchets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Northland Pines, they will welcome Antigo at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
