Basketball Game Preview: Brevard Christian War Eagles vs. Bayside Bears

Having just played yesterday, the Brevard Christian War Eagles will get right back to it and host the Bayside Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Brevard Christian came up short against Synergy Magnet K12 and fell 59-46. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bayside came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Scorpions with a sharp 62-42 victory.

Bayside has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Brevard Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

Brevard Christian took a serious blow against Bayside when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 71-40. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bayside's Omar Clarke, who went 9 for 13 en route to 22 points and four steals.
