Miller wins going away against Mansfield

Recap: Miller Cardinals vs. Mansfield Lions
The Miller Cardinals lost to the Mansfield Lions back in December of 2022, but the Miller Cardinals didn't allow the Mansfield Lions the same satisfaction on Monday. Miller took down Mansfield 52-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Miller.
Miller found their leader in underclassman Ashlynn Helton, who scored 23 points along with seven assists and four steals. Loghann Leivan was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Miller now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mansfield, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Miller will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sarcoxie at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024. Mansfield will be home for the holidays to greet Norwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norwood will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
