Basketball Recap: North Moore Victorious + How To Watch

North Moore won the last time they faced Central Carolina Academy and Rylee Welch did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs really took it to the Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-14 win with plenty of help from Welch, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Covington, who posted five points along with seven rebounds and five steals. She is becoming a predictor of North Moore's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is 2-1 (and 0-8 when she doesn't).

Central Carolina Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Izzabella Jordan, who scored five points and six boards.

North Moore's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Central Carolina Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

North Moore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-20 loss against Uwharrie Charter Academy on the 16th.
