Basketball Recap: Lac Courte Oreilles Comes Up Short

Lac Courte Oreilles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 52-32 to the Drummond Lumberjacks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-19 back in December of 2024.

Lac Courte Oreilles' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Drummond, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

Lac Courte Oreilles will challenge Hurley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Drummond, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-23 win against Bayfield on the 28th.
