Baseball Recap: Clayton Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Clayton won against Windsor on Friday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Greyhounds beat the Orchard Farm Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-6. The victory was familiar territory for the Greyhounds, who have now won three games in a row.

Logan Christman and Cole Rossini did most of the damage at the plate: Christman went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Rossini got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Clayton's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Orchard Farm, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Clayton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Pattonville on the 31st. As for Orchard Farm, they will take on Fort Zumwalt East at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
