Basketball Recap: Kongiganak Takes a Loss

Kongiganak lost against Nelson Island back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kongiganak Wolverines took a hard 83-66 fall against the Nelson Island Islanders. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kongiganak's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Nelson Island, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Kongiganak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nelson Island, they and Akula Elitnaurvik will face off at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday without much rest, having both just played.
