Baseball Recap: Pershing County Comes Up Short

Pershing County lost to West Wendover on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 3-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ayden Montes made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Pershing County's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for West Wendover, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

While Pershing County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
