Basketball Game Preview: Show Low Cougars vs. St. Johns Redskins

The Show Low Cougars will square off against the St. Johns Redskins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Show Low came up short against Snowflake and fell 57-48.

Meanwhile, St. Johns humbled Many Farms with a 78-51 victory.

St. Johns has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Show Low, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Show Low against St. Johns in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 68-33 victory. Will Show Low repeat their success, or does St. Johns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
