Volleyball Recap: Hurricane Has No Trouble Against Pine View

Hurricane won the last time they faced Pine View and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-17.

Graci Fox paced Hurricane's offense, picking up ten kills. Fox got some help from Teuila Alualu and her 23 assists. Alualu was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hurricane's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Pine View, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-12.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Hurricane and Crimson Cliffs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Pine View, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on the 10th.
