Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Filer). They claimed a resounding 58-29 victory over the Gooding Senators. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wildcats had established a 28 point advantage.

Despite the defeat, Gooding saw an underclassman step up: freshman Camryn Rycraft dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Rycraft has posted since back in December of 2024.

The win was the third in a row for Filer, bringing their record for this year to 10-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Gooding, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Filer will have a chance to go back-to-back against Gooding: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
