Recap: Holland Christian vs. Holland
The Holland Christian Maroons won their last matchup against the Holland Dutch, and it was the same story this time around. Holland Christian took their contest against Holland on Friday 66-59. Sixty-six seems to be a good number for the Maroons as the team scooped up a win with the same point total in their game this week.
The matchup started off well for Holland Christian, whose offense put up 41 first-half points. The Dutch weren't quite able to keep up, and the score was 41-26 heading into the break. Holland Christian was outperformed in the second half 33-25 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.
The victory makes it two in a row for Holland Christian and bumps their record up to 8-9. The defeat dropped Holland's record to 3-12.
The Maroons will stay at home against Zeeland East on Tuesday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup. The Dutch will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kelloggsville. Like Holland, Kelloggsville is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 64-45 to Calvin Christian.
