Football Recap: Sutherlin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sutherlin can now relate to. They were dealt a 39-8 loss at the hands of the Banks Braves on Friday. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-0.

It was another big night for Nate Lyda, who rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 202 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes for Banks. Those 114 rushing yards gave Lyda a new career-high. Henry White also helped out as he racked up 109 rushing yards.

Sutherlin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Banks, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

As of now, neither Sutherlin nor the Braves have any future games scheduled.
