Volleyball Recap: Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats. The Blackhawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildkats, too.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-18.

Defeat or not, Kimball/White Lake got some senior leadership from Sienna Gillen and Mariah Gosmire. Gillen had 20 digs and one assist, while Gosmire had four digs and three blocks.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Kimball/White Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.

Coming up, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will face off against Hitchcock-Tulare at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kimball/White Lake, they will host Gregory at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
