Volleyball Recap: River Valley Extends Winning Streak to Two

Richland Center came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against River Valley, but Kyllie Smith wouldn't allow it. The Blackhawks blew past the Hornets 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Smith, who had ten digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

River Valley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Richland Center to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-18.

The victory made it two in a row for River Valley and bumps their season record up to 19-12. As for Richland Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-14.

River Valley has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Dodgeville on the 16th. As for Richland Center, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Lancaster on the 16th.
