El Rancho (18-10, 9-6) has won five games in a row, Del Rio's longest active win streak. In the past week, the Dons won another two games,.

El Rancho had a successful week, as it won two total games to lead the league. The Dons beat Alhambra 1-0 and Don Lugo 3-2.

After surrendering only one walk in the past week, El Rancho remains No. 1 in the league in that category for the season, with just 56 total.

There were four hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. Leading the pack was David Corrales, who hit .667 by going 2-for-3.

The week's strikeout crown belonged to Marcus Price, who turned in two Ks for the Dons. He's 12th in the league with 15 total strikeouts.



El Rancho's Price threw seven shutout innings in a 1-0 win over the Moors on Tuesday. He pitched seven scoreless innings and struck out six, while giving up one hit.

Jimmy Olguin struck out 11 in California's 6-1 win over Barstow on May 14. Over seven innings of work, he gave up three hits and one run.
