Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cheylin walked away with it. They came out on top against the Wallace County Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Cheylin never let Wallace County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23.

Taylor McCarty paced Cheylin's offense, picking up 14 kills. McCarty got some help from Ashlyn Schields and her 22 assists.

Cheylin's victory bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Wallace County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-20-1.

Cheylin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Thunder Ridge on the 21st. Wallace County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
