Baseball Recap: St. Paul Cardinals vs. Bracken Christian Warriors
St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Bracken Christian Warriors. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Chris Peters was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Joe Peters, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bracken Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-10.
Coincidentally, St. Paul and Bracken Christian will both be playing Hill Country Christian the next time they take the field. Bracken Christian will head out to face Hill Country Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while St. Paul will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st.
