Basketball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was the 65-54 winner over Sidney when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Riverside Bulldogs took a 63-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sidney Cowboys.

Riverside has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Sidney, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9.

Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sidney, they will take on Bedford on Thursday. Sidney knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matches -- so hopefully Bedford likes a good challenge.
