Bishop Rosecrans hasn't had much luck against Fisher Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bishops will be playing in front of their home fans against the Irish at 5:15 p.m. Bishop Rosecrans is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Mallory Moody was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Ward, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Fisher Catholic waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Irish might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.
Lauren Kersell made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Fisher Catholic got a massive performance out of Mallory Stanton, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave Stanton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lucy Watkins, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Fisher Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.
Fisher Catholic pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Rosecrans, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bishop Rosecrans has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .458. However, it's not like Fisher Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .492. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
