It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Iowa Park ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Jacksboro Tigers 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Tigers last Tuesday, they had to take a 7-5 loss.

Iowa Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Jacksboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10-1.
