Recap: First Baptist School Hurricanes vs. Lexington Wildcats
The First Baptist School Hurricanes waltzed into Friday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They pulled ahead with a 38-37 photo finish over Lexington.
Despite the loss, Lexington saw an underclassman step up: Sydni Anderson scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Emory Waters-Inman was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
First Baptist School's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lexington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
First Baptist School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Riverside at 4:00 p.m. on November 25th. As for Lexington, they will face off against Andrew Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Andrew Jackson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 39 on Friday.
